Fuji Fujinon Large Format Lenses
Fuji is known to manufacture some of the finest large format lenses available. Unfortunately for those of us living in the United States there is no longer an official importer or distributor for theses lenses. This doesn't mean they aren't available, just harder to come by. Also, many of the classic fujinon large format lenses are no longer produced at all but can still often be found in great condition second hand on auctions sites such as Ebay.

Fujinon large format lenses still in production come in various categories denoted by letters appended to the end of the lens name. These are as follows:
SF: Soft Focus lenses used primarily for portraiture.
SW and SWD: Wide Angle
T: Telephoto
C: Compact Lightweiht Lenses
CMW: Standard General Purpose
Having said this most of the lenses you will be finding here are Fujinon W and an occasional Fujinon T.
Although, officially discontinued "A" series lenses are still on rare occasion found for sale new. These are "Apochromatic" lenses intended mainly for macro photography.
Most photographer's agree that a Fuji large format lens will hold it's own with the other big names in high quality camera glass. Many people concerned with weight and size particularly like the Fujinon brand for some of their models relative light weight and compact size.
